Helen is a designated CPA, CMA, having over 30 years of global expertise in financial management and accounting. Formerly as Senior Accountant for the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Vancouver, she specialized in all aspects of non-profit organizations and is well versed in finance, donations, payroll, taxes, and regulatory compliance. She is passionate about continuous organizational improvement and the impact that finance professionals can make throughout successful organizations. While there are many parts of her job Helen enjoys, her favourite aspect of her role is understanding
challenges faced by various stakeholders within an organization and facilitating a positive resolution for all. Helen and her husband emigrated from Sri Lanka to Canada to build a better life for her children’s future. She is passionate about volunteering and mentoring others to give back to the community.
